How to Cultivate an Attitude of Positivity

Positive Thinking: Changing your perspective to look at things in a realistic, but positive, light.

We are all capable of achieving great things if we can maintain the power of positive thinking. For most people, their experience is exercising lower states of emotion such as fear, guilt, anger, disappointment….

Over time we become pessimistic by projecting a worse case scenario. If we project the worst-case scenario as the final outcome than anything above that is a bonus. This tactic doesn’t allow for the body to act in its natural state of happiness, joy, love….

The body might become addicted to emotions that subconsciously creates circumstances to experience outcomes. Our thoughts become reality. What you’ve accomplished is only a fraction of what is truly possible for you.

How does one become a positive thinker? You decide consciously to make a change and succeed
making optimism integrated into your life and the new normal. Replace the negative thought with a positive thought. This creates new neural networks in the brain. Thoughts become actions and actions result in outcomes. It’s the power of positive DOING. The mind is everything. What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.

Here are a few quick techniques to think more optimistically. First, start your day off on a positive note. Perform affirmations, visualizations, meditation, or gratitude exercises to kick off the day on a high note. Positive words increase cognitive reasoning and strengthen the brain’s frontal lobe. As the day progresses look for lessons in every situation. Use positive language. This will in-turn raise your vibration. Emotions have been measured in megahertz and happiness, joy, love, are all high vibratory emotions. If you can’t seem to raise your vibration on your own, then seek to empower others. Empowering others empowers us and raises our vibration.

These exercises can take up to 5 minutes or 30 minutes depending on your timing or commitment. Once you start to feel and see the positive changes you will realize that you are indeed changing as well. Practicing a new-state-of being is just that, practice. You have to start somewhere but these exercises have changed my life and the lives of thousands of my clients.
Cultivate a new you and a new reality.
Stay strong out there!

In health & happiness, Allison
